Scratch Resist Art

1. Randomly draw squiggly lines on a sheet of thick paper.

Try to make big swirls. You want workable patches.

2. Draw a second line next to the first set.

For those who are paying attention, I extended one of the middle lines to create more sections.

3. Use oil pastels to fill in the spaces.

I used bright colours. Make sure to press hard and apply thickly.

4. Brush black DRAWING INK over the whole sheet.

6. When dry, use a screwdriver to scratch the ink away from the patches in patterns.
