Coriander – Day 7
I plucked out the dead bits and left the bits that still look like they might survive.
There is a pool of water sitting in the saucer, so I don’t know what benefit watering it is going to do. Pouring this water back into the soil merely results in it seeping right out the bottom again.
Hoping I haven’t killed it.
Coriander – Day 5
I took some out and used it as a garnish in our dinner last night and this is what it looks like today.
Looking very sad. Then 10yo son pointed out the new shoots that were standing upright.
Maybe all is not lost yet.
Coriander Experiment – Day 2
This is the second day of the Great Coriander-Growing Experiment. I wrote about Day 1 here.
Mr Yewnique said that the placement of the pot by the kitchen window was not ‘in the shade’ and moved it to another place in the kitchen.

I love fresh coriander (aka cilantro in some parts of the world). Unfortunately, I have had the worst luck when it comes to growing my own. Even the ones I buy from the supermarket inevitably end up looking like this:
